The work before the field knows it needs the work.

Labs runs on the horizon where the productive question still has to be invented. Two threads are active today: coordination primitives for distributed inference across heterogeneous compute fabric, and the engineering reality of quantum-classical hybrid workloads as quantum advantage turns from demo to deployment. Everything else is on a longer list and a quieter schedule.
